Samana is located on the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. The pick up is done by air conditioned buses and we will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel. During the transfer from your hotel to the departure point of the excursion, a professional guide will tell you everything about the Dominican Republic, its customs and traditions, its crops and some historical information.
Our bus ride will end in Sabana de la Mar, where we will embark on our boat and set saild towards Los Haitises National Park.
This park is one of the most impressive natural reserves in the Dominican Republic. We are going to visit its caves, cays, the largest Mangrove forest in the country and we are going to discover all the secretes of the Taino culture. You will also learn a lot about the European colonists that came here in the 1400s as well as about the pirates the used to hide away on these islands.
After visiting Los Haitises, we will get back on board to reach Cayo Levantado to enjoy the white sandy beach and its crystal clear waters which were used many times in movies and commercials.
At Cayo Levantado you will be welcomed with a fresh Piña Colada and you'll have time to enjoy the wonderful beach. Lunch will also be served here.
At the end of the day we will get back onboard and head back to the pier in Sabana de la Mar, where the buses will be ready to take you back to your hotel.
