Isla Catalina is a natural park in the Dominican Republic located about an hour and a half from Bavaro. An air-conditioned bus will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel.
During the course of the trip, a certified guide will highlight some facts about the area, its crops and traditions of its inhabitants.
Our adventure begins with a visit to the Altos de Chavón. After enjoying the breathtaking views, we will go to Rio Salado to embark. On the catamaran we will serve drinks (non-alcoholic) and a snack. We will navigate directly to the reef know as the Catalina Wall where will do a guided snorkel expedition for a period of 40 minutes. Lifeguards are ready on-board in case of emergency. Masks with snorkels and fins are provided.
After the guided snorkel tour, the crew will offer drinks with / without alcohol, and we will sail to Catalina Island, where we will have a typical Dominican lunch. We will enjoy around 3 hours on the beach where you can enjoy different water activities (non-motorized) like kayaking, snorkeling and stand up paddle boarding ... Finally, we will return to the embarkation point of the catamaran where a bus will take you back to your hotel.
The itinerary of the tour and the services offered may differ from those described on this page due to weather conditions, logistical factors and availability of goods.
